What is ozone cleaning?
Ozone (O₃) is a form of oxygen and one of nature’s strongest disinfectants. Because it’s a gas, it spreads through the whole room, into carpet and upholstery fibres, mattresses, and cracks in walls and floors where liquid cleaners never get.
It doesn’t cover smells up with perfume. It breaks down the molecules that cause them, so once the smell is gone, it stays gone.
What it’s used for
Smoke and nicotine
Removes the smell left by years of smoking, in homes, flats and cars.
Pets
Deals with set-in pet and urine smells in carpets and soft furnishings.
Damp, mould and mustiness
Kills mould spores in the air and on surfaces, and gets rid of the musty smell that comes with damp. (If the damp itself is still there, it needs fixing too. Eve will tell you if she spots a cause.)
Fire and burning
Removes the smell of smoke and burning after a fire, alongside the clean-up.
After illness
Disinfects a bedroom or living space after flu or a stomach bug, to help stop it passing round the household.
After a death or biohazard clean
Used as a final stage after biohazard and trauma cleaning, to remove any lingering odour.
For homes, landlords and businesses
Homes and families
A fresher, cleaner home without heavy chemicals or artificial scents.
Landlords and letting agents
Gets a property ready for new tenants by removing every trace of the last occupant’s smoke, pets or cooking.
Offices, gyms and workplaces
Disinfects shared spaces such as offices, meeting rooms, changing rooms and gyms, out of hours and with no residue left behind.
Cars
Removes smoke and other smells before selling or leasing.
How it works
Free assessment. Eve looks at the space, finds the source of the smell and tells you what’s needed and how long it takes.
Room cleared and sealed. All people, pets and plants leave the area, and the room is sealed.
Treatment. Commercial-grade equipment fills the room with ozone for the time needed.
Airing out. Once treatment finishes, the ozone breaks back down into ordinary oxygen and the room is ventilated. Eve tells you when it’s safe to go back in, usually within a couple of hours.
Safety first
Empty rooms only. Ozone is never used while anyone is in the room: no people, pets or plants.
No chemical residue. Ozone turns back into oxygen, leaving no film, residue or artificial scent.
Eco-friendly. No harsh chemicals are left behind.
That fresh smell. When you walk back in, you’ll notice a clean, crisp smell, like the air after a thunderstorm. That’s normal, and it fades quickly.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Is ozone treatment safe?
Yes, when it’s done properly. The room must be empty during treatment and aired out afterwards, and Eve manages all of that and tells you when it’s safe to go back in.
